Whale season here in Hervey Bay is always a busy time for any tourist-related business but it gets a whole lot busier when school holidays lands in the middle of it as well. Over the last six weeks we have just been run off our feet … and we loved it.
It was also a time of some staff changes in the cafe too. Emma, Scott and Vicky have all moved on to other things and new staff have fitted in well.
Margaret – our relief chef – has now become our weekday chef and weekends are covered by Sharkey – who is well known for his appearance at a party we had a few years back in a Gorilla suit.
That’s something we’ve never let him live down 
Both Margaret and Sharkey are excellent chefs so come on in and enjoy their cooking … you won’t be disappointed.
Over the last few weeks we’ve been having some problems with our online booking system – that’s not operated by us but is provided for all tourist operators in Hervey Bay by a third party. We think we have the problems sorted out now and it should be functioning without any hassles.
We’ve removed some items from the online booking facility but that doesn’t mean that they’re not still available. We’re still offering everything from jetski tours and jetski hires right through to the wonderful Seakart.
