Thank goodness, we’ve slipped into that quiet period between the end of whale watching season and the Christmas holidays when we can catch our breath and … hey, who am I kidding 
Yes this is supposed to be a quiet period but ‘quiet’ is a relative term. Even today – midweek – we’ve had plenty of people enjoying coffee or lunch at the cafe and we had a jet ski tour to Fraser Island as well.
This afternoon the rain decided to set in and things really did quieten down. Here’s the current view from our webcam. The camera is pointed across the dining area and beach and across the bay to Fraser Island.
Even in the rain there is something beautiful about Hervey Bay.
