It’s hard to believe that we’re already at the end of April … it seems like only yesterday that we were celebrating the new year. It’s certainly been a great month here with plenty of activity in the cafe and on the water and I doubt that things are going to slow down all that much for us between now and when whale watching season starts in July.
In autumn and early winter the weather here in Hervey Bay is usually glorious and the long-range weather forecast is certainly looking good so now is definitely the time to come up to Hervey Bay and escape those cold winter days in the southern states.
Just the other day the maximum in one of the country towns in New South Wales where I once worked only reached 10 degrees Celsius while up here it was a balmy 27 degrees. Now you know why so many people want come to spend winter in Hervey Bay. Â
One final thing I have to do here on the blog before April slips away is to introduce our employee of the month. We’d like you to meet Kathy.
Kathy has been part of the cafe team here at Aquavue for quite some time now and when big groups arrive unexpectedly she’s the one who can take it all in her stride.
