Aquavue Makes the News

Wednesday, May 28th, 2008

While other tourist operators here in Hervey Bay have been reporting a very quiet period it seems to have been a bit different for us here at Aquavue. We’ve still been seeing great numbers in the cafe and people are still interested in taking one of our jet ski tours over to Fraser Island.

We even had the opportunity to take a travel writer and photographer from the Brisbane Times over to Fraser Island for a look at parts of the island that other tours can’t reach. You can find the article on line right here - and the author, Sam de Brito, certainly seems to have had a great time on Fraser Island … although his photographer didn’t fare so well :)

Jet Ski Tours to Fraser Island

Saturday, March 15th, 2008

The lead up to Easter this year has been great. The weather hasn’t been too bad and there’s a lot of interest in our jet ski tours to Fraser Island. One tour even headed out at 7.30 this morning and, if you can handle getting up early, then that’s a great time to be seeing parts of Fraser Island that no one else can show you.

We have a variety of Fraser Island jet ski tours we can take you on depending on your time and budget so if you’re coming up to Hervey Bay for Easter why not give us a call to make a booking?

The Fraser Island jet ski tours are very popular so it’s wise to book ahead to avoid disappointment.

Even if you don’t want to take an early-morning jet ski tour the beach here at Hervey Bay is still a great place to be early in the morning. This was the view from our cafe at about 7.15am today.

Fraser Island Jet Ski Tours

Friday, November 16th, 2007

Here I am just back from taking another of our jet ski tour to Fraser Island. I love going over there with people because it’s a chance to show them parts of the island that they just don’t see with the regular Fraser Island Tours that we book for other tour operators.

Our tours take you into some of the most pristine beaches that you could hope to see.

Here’s one photo we took on a recent jet ski tour to Fraser Island when one of my daughters came along for the ride. This was just an average day near Moon Point.

A Marathon on Fraser Island?

Friday, June 29th, 2007

People certainly find some different things to do on Fraser Island but running a marathon was not something I ever expected to see on Fraser Island but it could be about to happen.

While I was wandering around the Web I came across this story of a Fraser Island Marathon to be run on Fraser Island  between August 11 and 13.

There are plenty of ways to see the Island but I never considered that running might be one of them. Lots of people like to see Fraser Island by taking our popular Fraser Island jetski tours and here’s one happy group who did.

A Busy Week

Saturday, April 21st, 2007

Wow what a busy week we’ve had. Usually this time of year things really begin to quieten down; even though the weather is still great and water is still warm the holidays are over for most Australians but this last week has been great.

One of the most popular things for people to do here at Aquavue this week has been to take aguided jet ski tour to Fraser Island. We’ve had at least one tour head across Hervey Bay to Fraser Island every day this week.

Fraser Island is always a popular destination for people who come to Hervey Bay and there are plenty of Fraser Island tour bookings that we can organise for people. However our Fraser Island jet ski tours are unique because we show you a part of the island that the other tours can’t reach and just getting there on one of our jetskis is an adventure in itself.

Fraser Island beach
One of the features of Fraser Island is the sand; yes I know that the whole island is made of nothing but sand but the sand you will find on the beaches is amongst the whitest and finest sand in the world. Mix it with a little water and it’s great for cleaning jewellery :)
