Jetski Hire and Tours

Is there a weight limit to ride the Jet skis?
Yes there is, the Jetskis can hold a maximum of 2 people with a maximum combined weight of 272kg.

 

Do I have to hold a Jetski licence to ride one?
No you do not, our permits cover all the licencing requirements.
All our Fraser island tours have a qualified guide, safety briefings and demonstrations are conducted before every hire and tour.

 

What age do you have to be to operate a Jetski?

  • Person/s 14 years of age can operate a Jetski but must be accompanied by a passenger who is 18 years or older.
  • To operate a Jetski solo you must be at least 16 years of age, however, we will require a parent or guardians’ permission for you to be able to participate.
  • To ride a Jetski as a passenger you must be at least 8 years of age, your feet must also be able to touch the foot deck of the ski.

Photo ID will be required on the day so make sure you bring this along.

 

Can my children hire out equipment?
Yes, they can.
Children under the age of 18 will need a parent or guardian present to sign them onto our booking system.

Clothing and Attire

What should I wear?
We suggest wearing casual clothes or swimmers that you don’t mind getting wet, a pair of sunglasses for out on the water (an older pair as they may be lost), sunscreen and a towel.
We supply everyone with a personal flotation device and a wet suit (if requested).

 

Location and arrival times

What time should I arrive?
Non-powered watersports - Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your booked session time.

Powered watersports hires/tours - Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your session time.
Prior to commencing activities each participant will need to sign onto our booking system and a short safety briefing will be undertaken.

 

Where are you located?
You can find us right on the beach on the Esplanade in Torquay.
We are opposite the post office and next to the tennis courts.
